Doug is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Melville Capital, a boutique Life Settlement Brokerage.
With almost 30 years of experience in financial services and more than 15 years in the life settlement business, Doug brings a holistic and big-picture view to his clients.
He has extensive expertise navigating complex scenarios and implementing practical and efficient solutions for policy owners who have had a change of need or financial condition.
Since its founding, he has led Melville Capital to more than $2B (policy face value) of completed transactions and helped develop a proprietary process designed to maximize offers. Working almost exclusively with Advisors, he has garnered national notoriety amongst some of the most successful and influential insurance agents/GAs, CPAs, FAs/BDs, Estate and Succession Planners, Corporate Restructuring/Bankruptcy Professionals and Attorneys.
